No joke...
I use straight up extra-virgin,light olive oil...the lighter the better...less aroma. You can mix it w/ essential oils. Myrhh, Rose oil,rosemary and lavender oils are all great for dry, processed hair. Lemongrass is great for oilier hairs.
Most oils in the grocery store are cheaper than buying them in a bath and body store, and are usually the same. You get much bigger quantities too. Just make sure you don't get roasted or flavored oils. Pure, col-pressed almond, peanut, sesame, avocado, apricot oils etc are all available in bulksizes! Yea!!
