I thought there was no one better than Splendora readers to understand my frustration. 5 years ago I bought a Louis Vuitton bag from a luxury store; fast forward to 2006-2007 I have grown out of my desire to carry bags with labels on it so I decided to take my bag to a consignment shop that I frequent. This shop sometimes deals in high end items so I felt comfortable taking it there. To my surprise they examined that bag with a fine tooth comb thought it was a fake, but took it anyway because I am a frequent client and had some level of trust. Well two weeks later they gave me my bag back and said that under further investigation they have decided the bag is a fake. I thought it was no way to get my 275 dollars back or even authenticate this purchase, luckily the store still had my purchase history on file and I was able to retrieve my order unfortunately the email I sent to the company bounced back and they still haven't returned my message I sent over an hour ago. I’m just wondering if they are going to give me my money back or authenticate this item?

you can go to The Purse
you can go to The Purse Forum.com and post a picture of it, there are my experts at that site that will authenticate the bag for you

CRAZY!
I am astounded by what happened to you. You will have to let us know what happens in the end.

wow
That is unbelievable, not to mention unacceptable! I would be mortified if someone accused me of trying to pass off a fake as a real item. And more infuriated if the company wouldn't help me authenticate.
Maybe it's just a little while for them to respond. You know how the French are about taking their time, it's a quality of life thing... joie de vivre or something.
(If you makes you feel better: LVMH stock has dropped like 20% this year. I know, leave to a finance person like me to seek comfort in share performance.)
