Used as a teenager back in the day; same great shampoo I remember!

I originally bought this for my boyfriend, who loved Suave's Balsam and Protein shampoo. Suave doesn't make it any more, so obviously noone carries it. I really liked the smell of the shampoo, it is a woodsy, masculine scents. The shampoo is sudsy and cleansing, without leaving a waxy residue. My only problem with the shampoo is that it contains the dreaded Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate and Sodium Laureth Sulfate as the second and third ingredients, which is moderately bad for skin and hair. Most shampoos and soaps have ALS and SLS in them, but I try to avoid using them. It's not that I'm a conspiracy theorist, I just have hair problems, and want to keep as much of my thin hair as possible. In conclusion, for most people I would recommend this, unless you have scalp problems.

I have tried many high end shampoos and my sister owns a salon. For the price , you can not beat it. My hair is long and thin with flyaways. This shampoo adds manageabilty ,controls the flyaways and adds shine. The smell was ok for me,but my hair looks like it did when I was younger. I combine this with the TIGI Catwalk root boost and I have great control and body. I'm hooked!

I've tried new products with different scents and guarentees but none leave your hair as fresh and clean as Flex.

THIS WAS THE ONLY SHAMPOO I EVER USED, I RECEIVED MORE COMPLIMENTS ABOUT HOW WONDERFUL MY HAIR ALWAYS SMELLED. THEN FOR YEARS I COULD NOT FIND THIS PRODUCT, UNTIL RECENTLY MY DAUGHTER FOUND ONE LONE BOTTLE AND BOUGHT IT FOR ME AND THEN FOUND YOUR WEB SITE. THIS SHAMPOO PERFORMS BETTER THAN MOST OF THE BIG NAME SHAMPOOS. I HAVE TRIED MOST OF THE SHAMPOOS ON THE MARKET AND HAVE PAID [$]FOR SHAMPOO. NON COMPARE TO FLEX. PLEASE CONTINUE THIS PRODUCT. I AM A "DIE HARD FLEX SHAMPOO WITH BALSAM FAN" YEA!!!!!!

I have used Flex shampoos and conditioners for over 30 years and always have them on my bathroom shelf. I LOVE THEM ALL! I'm a runner and get soaking wet when I run and it gets the sweat and oils out and leaves my hair clean, shiny and smelling so great. I even use it every week on the dog so she smells "FLEX" great, too!

I was excited to try this conditioner, since it had so many great reviews. Boy was I disappointed! This product conditions as well as a low cost conditioner like V05 or Suave. It might be alright if you don't need much conditioning or as a basic daily conditioner. The main problem? It smells awful! Think elderly aunt floral. It's incredibly strong. My boyfriend actually gagged when he smelled my hair (and he didn't have to get terribly close to smell it). I threw the bottle away after using it for about a week - and I've never thrown away any hair product.

This is a great product!!! Love this shampoo.
