Splendora was born in 1999, years before fashion websites were fashionable, thus we have the street cred to report on what's hot and where to buy it. We lovingly share these findings in our Weekly Style Forecast, WHAT TO Blog and website. We only write about people, places, and things we've personally tried and love. Simple as that. We are experts. We are connectors. We are fabulous.

If our editors like your product or service, we will write about it and/or you will be contacted for further information. A closet computer geek with an uncanny fashion sense to suggest otherwise, Gina Pell is often stopped by total strangers eager to know where she scored next season's Christian Louboutins (Paris); where she waxes her brows (see Splendora Beauty); how she found a Chloe cashmere coat for 50% off (she'll never tell). The idea for Splendora actually came to her in the wee hours of the morn while jumping horses in the English countryside (true story). Why not turn this love for all things fabulous into a full-time business? And so, Splendora was born in 1999 as the ultimate guide to fabulous places, products, and now with the launch of Splendora's social network ... people. An early internet pioneer, Gina directed teams of developers, writers, and artists before creating award-winning educational websites and becoming a start-up consultant in 1997. Gina graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California at Berkeley. Pell also completed the Fine Arts program at Pratt in Venice, Italy.
It doesn't take a killer pair of Blahniks to make Amy parker stand heads and above the mundane marketing crowd. Amy's southern charm, good manners, and commitment to crafting win-win partnerships have won her fans the world over. As Splendora's Executive Vice President, Ms. parker crafts clever co-branded marketing partnerships and her strengths include managing and leading internal and external sales teams. Amy is so brilliant at what she does that if she didn't exist we'd have to invent her, and even then we would have never thought to add the lethal Miss Scarlett drawl. Ms. parker spent several years in sales and marketing at Computerworld Magazine before moving onto selling corporate sponsorships for major brands such as WeddingChannel.com and Harrods of London. Amy graduated from the University of North Carolina - Greensboro with a double degree in Fashion and Business Marketing
Hailing from the North Bay by way of San Diego, Jessica is Splendora's resident So. Cal sweetie. While going to school in Santa Barbara and logging time beaching and pampering in the sunny environs, Jessica managed to do research and development for a spa oriented magazine making her a natural fit for Splendora. Miss Jessica now trains her editorial eagle on the Editorial Deparment ensuring that deadlines are met, stories are fact checked, and perfect harmony exists between all internal teams at Splendora HQ. Jessica graduated from UCSB in 2003 with a degree in Business Economics and a minor in Spanish.
After stints at some of the Bay Area's largest retail outfits, Allison showed up on Splendora's doorstep decked out in her Marc Jacobs ready to tackle Splendora's growing marketing and development needs. Allison is the master at soliciting and garnering donations for when Splendora partners with local and national non-profits. She is also a genius when it comes to creating marketing channels and programs to spread the Splendora gospel. Allison graduated from UCLA in 1998 with a degree in Math and Accounting.
Jennifer comes to Splendora by way of the East Bay- with a few stops along the way. She has logged serious living (and shopping) time in places like Santa Barbara, Spain, and Japan. Before Jen joined the Splendora sales team, she was an all-star ballerina, she taught English in Japan, worked on the set of "Something's Gotta Give", and took 3 Crystal cruises in a 6 month time span. Obviously, Jen is a go-go kinda gal and she relishes the days where she trolls the Bay Area's hippest 'hoods to find sweet new spots for Splendora. Jennifer graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara in 2002 with a degree in Global Studies.
